CONTRACT SANRAL R.516-010-2020/1R: FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF NATIONAL ROAD R516 SECTION 1 FROM TOOYSPRUIT (Km 36.67) TO BELA BELA (Km 82.70)

Interested Sub-contractors and service providers.

1. The purpose of this invitation is for qualifying Targeted Enterprises (TE) to tender on the below sub-contracting packages that are currently available for tender:

2. Compulsory Tender briefing meetings will be held for these packages as per the Dates & Times indicated in the above table. The tender documents will include: the sub-contract document, the pricing schedule, specifications, the programme (where applicable), drawings (where applicable) and the sub-contractor performance report. The Tender Documents will be supplied to those companies represented at the Tender briefing meeting or Companies that formally request the Tender Documents via the below email address clearly stating their company name, contact details and package numbers interested in. It remains the Tenders responsibility to ensure he receives the Tender Documents in due time to submit pricing.

3. Mandatory documentations that are required from the subcontractors at the time of tender submission are:

• Company Cover letter indicating the package that the company tendered for.
• Completed pricing schedule
• Completed returnable schedules as per the Contract document. Pay careful attention to documents that must be on a company letterhead.
• Company registration documents (CIPC) (Targeted Enterprise Definition: EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people).
• SARS Tax Compliance Status Pin (valid, not expired).
• CIDB Certificate or Registration.
• CSD Registration.
• Letter of good standing COIDA (valid, not expired).
• BBBEE Certificate (valid, not expired).
• Company Profile (updated profile till current year).
• Proof of Address.
• Relevant References and contact details.
• Proof of Disability or Military Veteran if applicable.

Important Notes:

• Only Companies that have been formally issued the Tender Documentation by the Main Contractor after the Tender Briefing or electronically may submit pricing.
• Companies will not be eligible for adjudication if mandatory documents are outstanding and not submitted in time on the date of closing.
• Final submission requirements will be confirmed in the Tender Documentation.

All Contractors are to ensure that they complete the register when the tender registration documentation is collected, and their tender pricing is submitted.

Submission of a compliant tender does not guarantee any possible sub-contracting opportunity but should be understood to be a part of the process of providing possible opportunities through a process of Tender, Evaluation and Adjudication based on Business principles. Packages listed above are not exclusive to TE but preferred.
